Rule 1. You must have a driving licence. Don't worry about booking lessons. The right amount of money will buy you a licence without any experience.
Rule 2. Drive on the left. However, if you see an opportunity to get to your destination quicker, by all means drive on the right, down the middle, or however you wish. Other drivers will respect your intentions and make room for you.
Rule 3. Don't wait for a gap in the oncoming traffic before you pull out to overtake. Traffic coming towards you will move aside.
Rule 4. Never wait behind a tuktuk. They are a natural obstacle on the road to be overtaken without delay.
Rule 5. Don't wait for a gap in the traffic before joining the highway. Just barge straight in. Why should you wait? Other cars have brakes.
Rule 6. Always get out of the way of buses. They have an undisputed right to use the highway as they please and will only tolerate you for so long before you are pushed off the road.
Rule 7. Use the horn whenever possible. Avoid use of brake until at your destination.
Rule 8. Please swerve to avoid sleeping dogs, or iguanas, but it is only necessary to warn pedestrians with the horn.
Rule 9. You may stop anywhere without notice or concern for other drivers
Rule 10. There are no rules.
